Meet Our Founder:Dr. Sanjay Talluri
Dr. Sanjay Talluri was raised in the mountain town of Mount Airy, North Carolina, where he first discovered his passion for healthcare. He earned his dental degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, with undergraduate studies at Wake Forest University, before relocating to the Boston area in 2018 to follow the love of his life.
Early in his career, working in clinics from Lawrence to Swampscott, Dr. Talluri noticed a pattern: patients returning again and again for the same recurring issues. That experience shaped a core belief that still guides his practice today: that traditional dentistry too often treats problems without addressing their root causes.
Dr. Talluri does not believe cavities are an inevitable part of life. His goal is to build a genuinely cavity-free community, one patient at a time, by meeting people where they are and working together to reduce their need for future dental care. He acquired Exquisite Dentistry in Melrose to bring that vision to life, creating a practice centered on trust, collaboration, and long-term wellness rather than one-off treatment. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Clear Aligners, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, staying connected to the latest standards and techniques shaping modern dentistry.
Outside the practice, Dr. Talluri is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys backpacking, skiing, and boating along Boston’s harbor and coastline. He and his wife are also parents to a young son, and he is proud to have built a practice with the same tight-knit, small-town feel he grew up with.
