Investing in Better Visits, Not Just Better Equipment

New equipment doesn’t automatically make a dental visit better. What makes the difference is choosing tools that actually solve a real problem, whether that’s cutting down the time you spend in the chair, reducing discomfort during a procedure, or catching something small before it becomes something bigger. That’s the filter every piece of technology at Exquisite Dentistry has to pass before it earns a spot in our office.

The result is a practice that feels less like a routine dental visit and more like a genuinely comfortable experience, from the moment you sit down in our private treatment rooms to the moment you walk back out.

Intra-Oral Camera

A traditional mirror only shows so much. Our intra-oral camera puts a live, magnified image of your mouth right on a screen in front of you, so Dr. Talluri isn’t working from memory or a quick glance, and neither are you. Hairline cracks that would be invisible to the naked eye suddenly become obvious.

This changes the conversation about your treatment entirely. Instead of taking our word for why a filling or crown is needed, you can actually see the problem yourself, which tends to make insurance approvals move faster too, since there’s visual documentation to back up the recommendation.

Digital X-Rays

Radiation exposure is something we take seriously, which is why our digital X-ray system uses up to 90% less radiation than older film-based machines. That alone would be reason enough to make the switch, but digital sensors also produce an image almost instantly, so there’s no waiting around for film to develop while you sit in the chair.

Sharper images mean Dr. Talluri can spot developing issues, like early decay between teeth, well before they’d show any visible symptoms. Catching problems at that stage almost always means simpler, less invasive treatment down the road.

Soft Tissue Laser

Removing a suspicious bump or lesion from the soft tissue in your mouth used to mean a scalpel, stitches, and a longer recovery. Our soft tissue laser replaces all of that with a precise, pen-like tool that removes tissue in minutes, with healing that’s noticeably faster and far more comfortable, no sutures required.

Beyond biopsies, this same laser reshapes gum tissue without bleeding, treats certain gum infections quickly, and can even speed up healing for cold sores or mouth ulcers. It’s gentle enough for patients of any age, and it’s occasionally used to help guide wisdom teeth into better position as they develop.

3Shape Trios Intraoral Scanner

If a thick tray of putty in your mouth is your least favorite part of getting a crown or bridge, this scanner exists specifically to solve that. The 3Shape Trios captures a complete digital impression of your teeth in seconds, replacing the old method entirely.

Because that digital file can be sent to the lab electronically the same day, there’s no shipping delay for a physical mold. In practice, that often means your custom restoration comes back to our Melrose office and into your mouth faster than it would have otherwise.
